Holocaust survivor Magda Willinger will speak to the students of El Dorado High School and other Leona Group schools at 9 a.m. Tuesday, November 15. Ms. Willinger, who survived the horrors of Auschwitz, works now to educate students with her personal narrative of adversity and triumph. El Dorado High School will host its fall community festival and charity fundraiser, “A Taste Of El Dorado,” from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10.
This year, the fifth for the “Taste,” more than dozen local restaurants will donate delicious food samples for our guests, with proceeds from the festival to benefit the area charity “Feed My Starving Children,” along with the young sibling of an El Dorado student who is battling leukemia.
“Taste” testers this year will be treated to dining and dessert samples from the following restaurants:
