- Amount: $2,000
This scholarship program is granted to Native American students enrolled in any post-secondary education program. The award is handed out to an average of 225 students annually. - The AIEF scholarship application is available for students who are Native American or Alaska Native descent (student or one parent must be enrolled and have documentation). Student should have a GPA between 2.0-3.4 but ALL current or future undergraduate college students are encouraged to apply. An ACT score of 14 or above is desirable. Essay required. $2,000. - AmeriCorps
- AmeriCorps NCCC is a full-time, 10-month, residential national service program in which 2800 young adults - 18-24 years old - serve nationwide each year. The NCCC program oversees two service tracks - traditional NCCC and FEMA Corps. Members of both tracks of programming serve on teams of eight to 12 and to a series of different projects that address critical needs. Traditional NCCC members work on a variety of different six to eight week-long projects related to natural and other disasters, infrastructure improvement, environmental stewardship and conservation, energy conservation, and urban and rural development. In exchange for their service, members receive $5,645 to help pay for college, or to pay back existing student loans. Other benefits include travel, a small living stipend, room and board, and professional development. - Arizona Cattle Industry Research and Education
- One of the major purposes of this Foundation is to provide funds for education programs and scholarships for persons pursuing studies in topics and subjects directly and indirectly related to the cattle industry. Each year, the Foundation awards scholarships to deserving high school seniors and college undergraduates. The amount of scholarships awarded varies, depending on available funds and number of applicants. - Arizona Community Foundation Scholarships
- The Arizona Community Foundation is a large private provider of scholarships in Arizona, awarding millions of dollars to help students achieve their educational goals. High school seniors, current college students, or graduate level students attending schools anywhere in the U.S. can apply and there are scholarships available for two-year, four-year, and technical schools. Some awards are given based on merit or financial need, while others are awarded to students in a particular geographic region or with specific demographic characteristics. Students should apply early to qualify for the most awards. Some award deadlines begin in February.
- Arizona Earn to Learn - Available through ASU, NAU and U of A
- The AZ Earn to Learn IDA program is a savings strategy and multi-faceted financial education program designed to help provide low to moderate income residents with the opportunity, incentive, and institutional support necessary for them to save for post-secondary education (College). An Individual Development Account, or IDA, is a special matched savings account for people with low incomes. These accounts are designed to help families and individuals of modest means establish a pattern of regular saving and, ultimately, purchase a “productive asset,” in this case post-secondary education.
If you want to further your education or save for your children’s tuition expenses, you must save a total of $500 in your IDA savings account. A “savings match” is a promise to supplement your saving deposits at a specific rate. The AZEL program will offer an 8:1 savings match, meaning that for every dollar you save as part of the program, you will then be eligible to receive another eight dollars. So when you save $500 throughout the course of the program and meet all the other program requirements and partner university conditions and requirements, you will be eligible for $4,000 match. You will then have a total of $4,500 to apply to tuition and other approved college related expenses. This program is available through ASU, U of A, NAU. Deadline: November 15, 2015.

- First-generation college students enrolled in undergraduate degree programs in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences may apply for over $40,000 in scholarships. First generation scholarship applications are available each spring and scholarships are awarded and distributed for the fall and spring semesters. There are several different scholarships with varied application criteria. Only one application is required for all scholarships. Students will be considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible. Due by noon, March 1, 2014.
- ASU Kaibab Scholarship
- Ten scholarships will be awarded in the amout of $2,000 - $3,000. Eligible students should have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and preference will be given to students with financial need as established by the FAFSA who have filed or are prepared to file their FAFSA . You must be admitted to ASU in order to apply. Application will be available November 1st. Deadline is March 18th
- ASU Obama Scholarship
- The Obama Scholars Program at ASU is a scholarship/grant program that may cover the cost of tuition, books and room and board. You must demonstrate a total annual family income of $42,400 or less on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Obama Scholars Program will be closed for the year when program funds have been exhausted.

- Bachus & Schanker 11.1
- One gift of $2000 will be awarded twice a year to a different student each fall and spring semester to any high school senior accepted to attend a four-year university by the time of the award, or full time student attending a four-year university in the United States who carries a 3.0 cumulative GPA may apply. An essay is required of no fewer than 800 words about your opinion on the importance and efficacy of the 7th Amendment and how it affects your life. Consideration for the entirety of the Amendment (rather than the well-known nutshell explanation of the right to trial by jury) is encouraged. To be considered for the 2016 fall semester award given in September, students must submit by July 30, 2016.

- The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual $500 scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in.

- Blacks at Microsoft (BAM) is a company-sponsored employee network dedicated to supporting the continued growth and development of black employees at Microsoft Corporation. This year, BAM will award two $5,000 scholarships to outstanding high-school seniors who are interested in pursuing careers in technology. The scholarships are renewable, so winners who continue to meet the criteria can receive an annual $5,000 award for up to four years. Deadline: March 1st
Requirements
To be considered for a BAM Scholarship, you must:
Be a high-school senior of African descent (for example, African American, African, or Ethiopian).
Plan to attend a four-year college or university in the fall of the year following high-school graduation.
Plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or select business programs (such as finance, business administration, or marketing).
Demonstrate a passion for technology.
Demonstrate leadership at school or in the community.
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
Require financial assistance to attend college.

Must have done community service - in or outside of the school. You will be notified of your qualification status by mid-April. If you are among those being considered, you will be called into a Chandler Lion's selection committee interview. Please be prepared to talk about yourself and your future plans, as well as bring a letter of recommendation from a non-relative. Must be received by Wednesday, April 6, 2016.
- Chinese American Citizens Alliance 11.2015
- The CACA, Phoenix Lodge is offering five $600.00 scholarships to graduating high school seniors of Chinese descent. Scholarships are based on academic achievement, involvement in school and community services activities. A transcript, letter of recommendation and a short personal statement is also required. - Church's Chicken Scholar 1.1
- Must be a graduating high school senior and plan to enroll without interruption for the entire 2016-2017 academic year at a two or four year college, university or vocational-technical school. Le Cordon Bleu offers the Le Cordon Bleu Alumni Referral Scholarship to students who submit a letter of recommendation from an alumnus of Le Cordon Bleu. Each eligible applicant will be eligible for the scholarship up to $1,000. Students will be considered for the Le Cordon Bleu Alumni Referral Scholarship once they have completed the admissions application process and have submitted both the Le Cordon Bleu Alumni Referral Scholarship Application and their recommendation letter.
Best of the Best Scholarship:
Le Cordon Bleu offers the Best of the Best Scholarship to students who graduate high school or have graduated from a prior college certificate or degree program with a GPA of 3.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale). Each qualifying applicant will be eligible for the scholarship award of up to $1,500. Students will be considered for the Best of the Best Scholarship once they have completed the admissions application process and have submitted the Best of the Best Scholarship Application and their high school/college transcript.
Le Cordon Bleu Future Chef of America Competition Scholarship:
Le Cordon Bleu offers the Future Chef of America Scholarship. High school seniors may qualify for the scholarship as outlined in the program rules and requirements that are available by contacting the financial aid office. Applicants will be considered for the scholarship once they have completed the standard application process, met all admissions and eligibility requirements and have submitted all required supporting documentation. All recipients must enroll and begin their program of study at the Le Cordon Bleu campus of their choice in the United States within one calendar year from the date of the award. Failure to do so will void the scholarship. Scholarships can be applied towards tuition costs of an associates or online bachelor degree. Campus Competitions – High school seniors must submit a 75 word essay on why they want to pursue an education and career in the culinary profession and must complete all application requirements prior to the established due dates. Please review the complete rules for the scholarship and competitions as outlined in this application and eligibility materials.
- 1st Place - $5,000

All other campus participants not placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd will receive a $500 scholarship to be applied toward tuition at any Le Cordon Bleu campus in the United States.
National Competition – 1st place recipient at each local/regional competition will be invited to participate in a final national competition at a Le Cordon Bleu campus in the United States. Careers through Culinary Arts Programs (C-CAP)- Member Scholarship:
Le Cordon Bleu provides scholarships to students associated with the National C-CAP organization. This scholarship is eligible to all applicants who provide documentation of current membership in the C-CAP Organization and submit a student essay explaining how this scholarship will benefit them. Each eligible applicant will be eligible for the scholarship up to $2,000. Students will be considered for the Le Cordon Bleu C-CAP Member Scholarship once they have completed the admissions application process and have submitted the Le Cordon Bleu C-CAP Member Scholarship Application and their essay. Applications and supporting documentation are due by the end of the add/drop period for the student’s first class (or classes).
Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) – Member Scholarship:
Le Cordon Bleu offers the Le Cordon Bleu FCCLA Member Scholarship to students associated with the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America Organization. This scholarship is eligible to all applicants who provide documentation of current membership in the FCCLA Organization and submit a student essay explaining how this scholarship will benefit them. Each eligible applicant will be eligible for the scholarship up to $2,000. National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation- (ProStart) High School Competition Scholarship:
Le Cordon Bleu offers the ProStart Completion Scholarship to high school graduates who have successfully completed Level 1 & 2 of the ProStart high school curriculum. Each eligible applicant will be eligible for the scholarship of up to $1,500. Students will be considered for the ProStart Completion Scholarship once they have completed the admissions application process and have submitted the ProStart Completion Scholarship Application and their high school/college transcript
National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation- (ProStart) Collegiate Passport Scholarship:
Le Cordon Bleu offers the ProStart Collegiate Passport Scholarship to high school graduates who have successfully completed Level 1 & 2 of the ProStart high school curriculum and complete 400 hours of externship hours approved by ProStart. Each eligible applicant will be eligible for the scholarship of up to $2,000. Students will be considered for the ProStart Collegiate Passport Scholarship once they have completed the admissions application process and have submitted the ProStart Collegiate Passport Scholarship Application and their National Certificate of Achievement (COA).
Skills USA Member Scholarship:
Le Cordon Bleu offers the Le Cordon Bleu Skills USA Member Scholarship to students associated with the Skills USA Organization. This scholarship is eligible to all applicants who provide documentation of current membership in the Skills USA Organization and submit a student essay explaining how this scholarship will benefit them. Each eligible applicant will be eligible for the scholarship up to $2,000. Students will be considered for the Le Cordon Bleu Skills USA Member Scholarship once they have completed the admissions application process and have submitted the Le Cordon Bleu Skills USA Member Scholarship Application and their essay.- CUSD Indian Education Program
- If you are a Native American, and have never visited the CUSD Indian Education district website, please do so! There is scholarship information, including excellent scholarship sites. Check back frequently for sponsored events.
- DECA Scholarships for Seniors
- DECA's scholarship program provides over $300,000 in scholarships at the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) each year. Many corporate partners of DECA provide scholarships through the DECA Scholarship Program. DECA Inc. administers the program based on guidelines set by the donor. DECA scholarships are strictly merit based. Scholarship amounts vary. Deadline January 15, 2016.
- Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Phoenix Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter
- The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority offers scholarships each year to students who are of African American/Black heritage or descent, a current AZ resident, and have a 3.0 unweighted GPA. Two letters of recommendation, resume and a 500 word personal statement and an official transcript required (See Ms. Phillips for an official transcript). Postmark Deadline: February 29.
- Desert Jade Woman's Club - GFWC 11.1
- The Desert Jade Woman's club annually offers six $650.00 scholarships to high school seniors of Chinese descent. The scholarship is based on academic achievement, involvement in school and community service and financial aid. Click on the link below to down load the application. Transcript, recent photo and letter of recommendation required. Deadline: March 19.
- Desert Schools Community Scholarship 10.1
- T his award is valued between $2,500 to $10,000. Senior must have completed 50 hours of documented community service between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015, be a child or relative of a current member, or be a member of Desert School Federal Credit Union and have a cumulative 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale). Student must plan to enroll full-time in an accredited Arizona two or four-year college or university for the 2016-2017 school year. Application deadline is March 1, 2016.
- Dignity Health Mercy and Chandler Gilbert Volunteer Scholarship 12.1
- Qualifications for Students: Student transcript and 2 letters of recommendation required.
- Seeking a college degree/certification in a health-care related field.
- Provide proof of 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average during his/her high school career and/or college as demonstrated by transcript attached to application.
- Attend an accredited college, university, or institution of higher learning within the State of Arizona.
- Carry a minimum of 12 credit hours or be considered a full-time student while in college.

- Dorrance Scholarship
- This is a competitive scholarship for Arizona seniors. The foundation awards up to 25 scholarships annually to incoming freshmen at the following universities: Arizona State University,Northern Arizona University, and The University of Arizona. The total educational and programmatic value of each scholarship is estimated at more than $65,000 including a one-time $4,000 international study/travel stipend.The award is renewable for up to three years, a total of eight semesters of full-time undergraduate study. Scholarships are renewed based on academic standing, participation in program events and activities, and community service projects. - Foster Care to Success Scholarship
- Foster Care to Success scholarships are awarded based on a combination of merit and need, and funding levels are determined based on cost of attendance and availability of other resources. Awards range from $1,500 to $6,000 per academic year, and are renewable for up to five years if a student remains eligible. Scholarships are announced annually in June. Recipients and non-recipients are notified via email, at the email address provided in their online application.
Applicants must:- have been in public or private foster care for the 12 consecutive months prior to their 18th birthday; OR have been adopted or placed into legal guardianship from foster care after their 16th birthday; OR they must have been orphaned for at least one year at the time of their 18th birthday.

- Friends Place Community Volunteer Scholarship
- Fifteen $1,000.00 scholarships will be awarded. This scholarship is available only for Perry High School Students who live in the town of Gilbert. It is open to all seniors who have as GPA of 2.5 or higher who will be furthering their education through a college, university, community college or vocation school. Students must have community volunteer experiences other than the service hours required by school. Essays and references required. The application must be typed. Completed applicaitons must be mailed no sooner than March 1st and postmarked by March 28, 2016.
- Great Clips - The Alice Madden Barton Scholarship Program
- Current students, high school students and anyone interested in cosmetology or barbering as a career can apply for a scholarship through the Alice Madden Barton Scholarship program. These scholarships can be used at any cosmetology or barbering school.
The scholarships are given out twice a year in January and July to applicants who can demonstrate a passion for the craft and dedication to developing their skills. The deadlines for applications are June 30 and December 31. - HENAAC SCHOLARS - STEM Hispanic Student Scholarship 1.30
- The HENAAC Scholars Program addresses the immense need that the United States has to produce more domestic engineers and scientists. The goal of the program is to ensure STEM college retention with a 3.0 grade point average or higher; to guarantee college graduation with an undergraduate technical degree in four-five years; and, to contribute to Hispanic communities by producing STEM role models for future generations and securing the country's place as the finest technological leader in the world. Each year, multiple scholarship awards are given out and will range from $500.00 to $10,000.00. Deadline April 30.
- Hispanic Scholarship Fund
- HSF Scholarships are designed to assist students of Hispanic heritage obtain a college degree. Scholarships are available on a competitive basis to Hispanic seniors with a 3.0 GPA or higher and have plans to enroll full time in a degree seeking program at a two or four year college. - Jack Kent Cooke Foundation
- The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation reviews each Young Scholars Program application individually with the assistance of a panel of national education experts. Open to all high school students. Among the criteria used in the selection process are:
- High academic ability and achievement: Strong academic record, academic awards and honors, and substantive assessments by educators providing confidential recommendations. We consider grades (typically mostly A's), achievement test scores, participation in available honors or advanced courses, commitment to learning, and work ethic.
- Unmet financial need: Limited family income and insufficient funds to cover significant out-of-pocket education-related expenses. The average family income of our previous class of Young Scholars was approximately $25,000.
- Persistence: Determination and perseverance in the face of challenges, ability to set and remain focused on goals and to put in the effort needed to meet those goals in the face of obstacles.
- Desire to help others: Purposeful and meaningful commitment to others which may be evidenced by participation in volunteer/community service activities.
- Lion's Club Scholarship 1.8
- The $1,000 per year renewable four-year scholarship will be awarded to a deserving high school senior who has a 3.0 unweighted GPA after 3 ½ years of high school and is actively involved with school and community functions. Must be able to provide a community service log (documentation) 90% High school attendance is also required. In the past, additional consideration had been given to candidates with special needs, especially those with visual or hearing impairments. The scholarship can be used at any accredited Arizona junior or four year college of the recipient’s choice. Deadline: April 6.
- MENSA Foundation Scholarship 9.15
- The Foundation's college scholarship program bases its awards totally on essays written by the applicants. Consideration is not given to grades, academic program or financial need. Scholarships vary in amounts. Deadline to apply is January 15.
- Nurse Corps Scholarship Program
- NURSE Corps Scholarship Program enables students accepted or enrolled in a diploma, associate, baccalaureate or graduate nursing program, including RN to BSN Bridge Program, to receive funding for tuition, fees and other educational costs in exchange for working at an eligible Critical Shortage Facility upon graduation. The NURSE Corps Scholarship Program is a selective program of the U.S. Government that helps alleviate the critical shortage of nurses currently experienced by certain types of health care facilities located in Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs). Upon graduation, NURSE Corps Scholarship recipients work at these facilities for at least 2 years, earning the same competitive salary and benefits as any new hire. In exchange for a minimum 2-year service commitment at a critical shortage facility located in a HPSA, the NURSE Corps Scholarship Program pays: tuition, eligible fees, other reasonable costs, such as books, clinical supplies/instruments and uniforms and a monthly stipend.

- Nursing Schools Almanac is proud to announce our second annual Aspiring Nurse Scholarship. We will award a $1,000 scholarship to an aspiring nurse who best demonstrates:

This scholarship is open to all US high school seniors who plan to pursue college education in nursing, including LPN / LVN, ADN, and BSN programs. - St. Luke's Service League Scholarship/Sybil B Harrington Scholarship 1.8Theses scholarships are available to any American citizen and resident of Arizona pursuing an education in a health care related field. Student must have a 3.0 GPA, have extra-curricular activities, volunteer activities and a written statement of academic goals. Scholarship amount based on total applicants and total awarded. Applications must be post marked by Friday, March 11.
- The Nina Scholars Program - ASU or Maricopa Community CollegesMust demonstrate financial need. The Nina Scholars Program provides a scholarship award to assist with a student's cost of attendance at Arizona State University or one of the Maricopa Community Colleges, along with a few more. This is available to individuals meeting at least one of the following criteria: • Incoming freshman or continuing students ages 18-25, raised through the child welfare system • College-age youths and adults with physical disabilities • Adults 25 years of age or older who have dependents in their family unit. Deadline March 1. *Scholarship award amount may vary. Amount awarded is based on an individual student's “Cost of Attendance”and financial need determined by FAFSA.
- UNCEF Scholarship and Intership programUNCF manages various scholarship programs and each program has its own eligibility criteria, open/close dates and required documentation. To apply for a UNCEF scholarship, you must apply through the on-line application process. As many of the UNCEF scholarships require that the scholarship recipient apply for Federal Student Aid, it is recommended that applicants complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after January 1st of the senior high school year.
