Summer Architecture Program
The Wentworth Institute of Technology Department of Architecture has planned a four-week “design and build” program for high school students entering grade 10 and above, called summerFAB. Participants can stay on campus or commute to Wentworth on a daily basis and, upon successful completion, can later enroll in our Architecture program while replacing a four-credit elective course in Architecture. Graduates of summerFAB are eligible to receive a one-time $2000 tuition scholarship toward their freshman year tuition at Wentworth. Children of Warriors National Presidents' Scholarship
The American Legion Auxiliary will be awarding a scholarship student candidates that are sons/daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great-grand-sons, great-grand-daughters of veterans who served in the Armed Forces during the edibility dates for membership in the American Legion: a) April 6, 1917 - 11/11/1918 (WWI) b) December 7, 1941 - 12/31/1946 (WWII) c) June 25, 1950 - 1/31/1955 (Korea) d) 2/28/1961 - 5/7/1975 (Vietnam) e) 8/24/1982 - 7/31/1984 (Grenada and Lebanon) f) 12/30/1989 - 1/31/1990 (Panama) g) 8/2/1990 to the cessation of hostilities ( Persian Gold - Present)
Applicants must be in their senior year of high school and planning on attending an accredited institution of higher education. Applicants must have completed 50 hours of volunteer service within the community during his/her high school years. Hours must be verified by the recipient organization(s).
