Congratulations to El Dorado students who completed a course this week in Criminal Investigation at Everest College in Mesa. Students worked with law enforcement experts at Everest, and studied a variety of investigative techniques, including fingerprinting, crime scene photography and fiber analysis. El Dorado students interested in careers in forensic science and criminal justice will be working this year with Everest College experts, under the direction of EDHS Science Instructor Bahja Ali.
With Summer School wrapping up, we are busy putting together our upcoming El Dorado Calendar of Events! Stay tuned for exciting activities this summer, including our Ice Cream Festival on July 16, our EDHS Bowl-A-Thon on August 15, and another trip to see the Arizona Diamondbacks (vs. the San Francisco Giants) on September 15. It's going to be another great year!
Space is still available in the El Dorado Summer School Program! Summer School at El Dorado is a great opportunity to catch up on credits missed throughout the school year, or to work ahead towards graduation. The cost is only $65 per course! Summer School begins on Monday, June 2, and runs through Friday, June 20. Classes are held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:40 Monday through Friday. To enroll, contact the school office at 480-726-9536.
Attention football players – The EDHS Wolverines’ next Spring Football Practice will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hoops Park in Chandler. Players should wear comfortable workout items and bring cleats. At El Dorado High School in Chandler, Summer School will run from June 2-20, giving students the opportunity to earn extra credits at only $50 per class! This year’s theme is “Masquerade,” and the event promises to be a fantastic time for our students! Advance tickets are $15 for singles and $20 for couples. The El Dorado Science And Career Fair will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17, on the EDHS campus. This is a major event on the El Dorado calendar, with representatives from a large number
