El Dorado's new block begins on Tuesday, Oct. 13. This means that all students begin new classes, and new members of the El Dorado famly have the opportunity to start fresh with brand new courses and many opportunities to move closer to graduation! The El Dorado fall calendar features many exciting upcoming events, including our Homecoming Dance on Thursday, Oct. 15, and this year's Homecoming football game on Friday, Oct. 16! Join El Dorado High School at Skateland Chandler for a fun-filled family event on Tuesday, Sept. 29! Skateland's El Dorado Night, open to students, parents, family members and friends, starts at 5:30 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m. at the popular community center. El Dorado's first Open House and College Night of the 2015-2016 school year will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 at our Chandler campus. El Dorado High School students and families helped raise more than $350 for the Arizona Humane Society at the school's recent Back To School Bowl-A-Rama event. The fundraiser, held at AMF Chandler Lanes in Chandler, served as a welcome-back-to-school festival, bringing together El Dorado teachers, students, parents, families and community partners. The event was put together by El Dorado's Student Council. Way to go Wolverines!

Get ready, Wolverines! School begins Monday, August 3, and this year promises to be something special! We begin the year with the start of football season and cheerleading tryouts, which will be held next week. Our first school activity, a Back To School Bowl-A-Thon, is also ready to go. The event, which will bring together El Dorado students, teachers, staff members, families and friends, will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, at AMF Lanes in Chandler. Our award-winning powerlifting club will soon be preparing for its next meet, and our drama club will be scheduling the release of El Dorado's first student-made film, "Paranormal Festivity!" Special thanks to our Student Council members and visiting food vendors Voodoo Dogs and Mustache Pretzels! It was a great way to get ready for the new school year, which arrives on Monday, August 3.
