Tickets are now on sale for the El Dorado Prom, which will be held on Thursday, May 12, at the beautiful Shenandoah Mill reception center in Gilbert. The theme for this year's prom is "Eldo In Wonderland," with tickets on sale for $20 per person or $35 per couple. Guests who are not El Dorado students must receive administrative approval to attend the prom. Don't be late for this very important date! Who would like to dissect an eyeball? Everyone, of course! Join El Dorado at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 14, when the Arizona Science Center leads students and guests through a complete cow eyeball dissection.
Working in pairs, students and/or parents will learn about dissection etiquette, the proper handling of specimens and lab tools, and the anatomy and physiology of the eyeball.
The Science Center will provide everything needed for this free activity, part of El Dorado's Career and Science Fair.

Students are busily working on science projects for display in our annual Science and Career Fair, slated for Thursday, April 14, on our campus. Many college and university representatives will be here meeting with students, along with vocational school and military branch officials.
Students in Ms. Ali’s Forensic Science course are designing mock crime scenes for the event, to display along with exhibits from the Arizona Science Center and Arizona State University. The public is invited to this free event, which begins on campus at 11 a.m. and runs through 7 p.m. Guests will include:
El Dorado High School will host a school book fair as part of Barnes & Noble's "Batman Vs. Superman Day" on Saturday, March 19, at Chandler Fashion Center. Join El Dorado staff and students for a focus on literacy and a day of fun and excitement at the book store. Proceeds from the event will benefit El Dorado High School. El Dorado High School is hosting the 2K16 El Dorado Leadership Conference in partnership with the Arizona State University Sustainability Department on Friday, Feb. 26! The conference will feature many different workshops to support students with their futures in science and leadership. Instructors and staffers with ASU Sustainability will be conducting seminars and hosting competitions designed to enhance students’ leadership skills, and awareness of careers in the fast-growing field of sustainability. This exciting day will feature breakfast and lunch and will culminate with an awards ceremony in the afternoon.
