***MA 27 Pre-Algebra Difficulty: Average 2 Blocks. — 1 Math Credit**

**Pre-Algebra**– (Difficulty Level – 8th Grade) Curriculum includes the skills, strategies and vocabulary involved in algebraic problem solving, discrete math, functions and relationships,

Algebraic representations, data analysis and analysis of change.

**MA 30 Algebra/Geometry Difficulty: Average 2 Blocks — 1 Math Credit**

**Prerequisites: Completion MA 27**

**Algebra**- (Difficulty Level – 9th Grade) Curriculum includes the skills, strategies and vocabulary involved in algebraic problem solving, discrete math, functions and relationships, Algebraic representations, data analysis and analysis of change.

***MA 40 Algebra II Difficulty: Above Average 2 Blocks — 1 Math Credit**

**Prerequisites: MA 27 and MA 30**

(Difficulty Level – 10th Grade) This course extends and applies the concepts of Algebra I and Geometry. The curriculum includes the study of linear and quadratic functions, complex numbers, linear systems, powers, roots and radicals, exponential functions, probability, matrices and summary statistics.
